I first became acquainted with Dr. Adams when my kids were little and needed a dentist. Dr. Adams was strategically placed in the pediatrician’s office next door, so I thought I would give him a try. That was over 25 years ago, and although my kids are grown and gone, I’m still coming. It’s so nice to have a doctor who knows you by your first name when you walk in and considers you more a friend than a patient. I have recommended him to many of my friends and coworkers and I’ve never heard one complaint. He’s AWESOME!!
I feel very blessed to have found you. After years of bad experiences, I came crying to my physician who sent me to you. This was the beginning of a huge change in life for me. I have gone from great fear to complete trust and actually sitting in the chair laughing and joking at times. Because of you, I can eat, chew, and smile with confidence and I still have most of my own teeth. You are not only the “Very Best,” most professional Dentist – an artist at work in the mouth, but a wonderful person. You’re patient, kind, understanding, caring, a good listener and always have a big smile for everyone. I even love the atmosphere of your office – it’s a warm place with the feeling of home with many wonderful caring people around you. I feel close to all of you as if you are part of my family and have entrusted my daughter and grandson to your care. Three generations of us and we all love you.
I still remember my first visit. I had developed a toothache in the middle of the night on a Friday night (timing has always been my strong suit). On Saturday morning, I called the dentist we had been seeing and got no emergency number – only a message that gave me their hours Monday through Friday. I desperately started looking through the Yellow Pages for a dentist in Matthews and was supremely fortunate to find you. While that was enough to win me over at the time, each visit since then I have received the same professional care that reflects your integrity and values. The fact that you have always maintained a great staff that reflects those same values has been an added bonus.
I still get strange looks when I say I enjoy going to the dentist………I just don’t get it! :) You’ve seen me lose my baby teeth, you’ve seen me get braces, saw my first cavity and have looked at this time same set of teeth for over 20 years now. So I guess what I’m trying to say, is that it has been a pleasure to be your patient! Thank you for being a knowledgeable, warm and caring person who puts his patients first.
One of the main reasons that we love Dr. Adams as a dentist is because we TRUST him. Over the years we have noticed that he really cares about his patients. He doesn’t give off an essence that he’s in it just for the money. We have several examples of his thoughtfulness over the years, but one very recently! Just a few weeks ago, my 21-year old son broke off his front tooth. The staff (who, by the way, is also wonderful) got us in within hours. When we came back for a follow up appointment with Dr. Adams, he didn’t even charge us for the visit. Where in the world anyone find a dentist and dental office who would be so caring and unselfish?
We LOVE Dr. Adams because he is an amazing dentist, but also because he has proven himself to be one who truly puts his patients first!
Driving from Atlanta twice a year, I think of myself as one of your long distance patients. People ask me all the time if I’m crazy. I’m not crazy at all. Back in 1993 (I think that was my first visit), I knew I had found an exceptional dentist. I’m smart enough to know I should never give up the BEST dentist I’ve ever had in my life! Sometimes I wonder how many miles I would travel to remain your patient…the simple answer…as many miles as it takes
I have been a patient of Dr. Adams for many, many years. Having grown up needing quite a bit of dental work, I have a deep distrust of dentists in general stemming not only from a fear of the old fashioned instruments used on my young teeth, but also from the painful memories of having teeth filled without novocaine! Although I had seen other dentists as a young adult, I found that Dr. Adams has a down to earth manner that calmed my apprehension. Add to that the obvious quality of his work and knew that I had found the right dentist for me. This was made even clearer when we moved to Lake Norman, miles away from Matthews. In an effort to conserve gas, my husband talked me into visiting a new dentist closer to our new home. Big Mistake! Not only was the new doctor lacking the gentle skills I had become accustomed to, he tried to convince me to undergo thousands of dollars worth of unnecessary dental work. I called Dr. Adams’ office the next day and begged them to take me back as a patient, which is why I now drive for any hour each way for my dentist appointments.
