Front Desk

For the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of greeting our patients and making them feel comfortable from the moment they walk through our doors. I am here to answer the phones, schedule and confirm appointments, and file all necessary insurance paperwork. I enjoy talking to our patients and helping them with their dental needs. Our patients are all special, and each has a unique story to share. The interactions I have with our patients are what makes me smile every day!

My husband’s name is Alan, and we have three wonderful children. We enjoy traveling, watching baseball and basketball, and spending time with family and friends.

Front Desk

My career in dentistry began over 35 years ago, and I have been a part of the “Adams Family” since 2007. From our front office, I answer the phones, assist patients with all their scheduling needs, and file insurance claims. I feel so fortunate to work with people who are like my second family. Our staff actually enjoys being together, and this carries over to our patients. Everyone here is committed to providing excellent dental care to our patients in a relaxing, fun atmosphere.

I have two wonderful children, a son and a daughter, and two grand-dogs. I love to spend my free time reading, traveling, and going to the beach, unless, of course, the Panthers are playing!

Financial Coordinator

I help our patients to feel comfortable in discussing and arranging the financial aspects of their treatment, and help coordinate their insurance claims. The past 14 years I’ve spend with Dr. Adams, our team, and our family of patients have been so much fun. I love meeting new people and helping them to feel at home here. The professionalism and reputation of Dr. Adams and the caring personalities of our staff create a fun and friendly atmosphere for our office.

I have been blessed with five grandchildren who are lots of fun and my most prized possessions. I enjoy being outdoors, reading, listening to music, decorating, and cheering for Tar Heels basketball!

Dental Assistant II

I graduated from Central High School in 1991 and have been working in the dental field ever since! It has been a rewarding career, made even more so after I joined Dr. Adams in 1997. We truly are one big “family” here at Dr. Adams’ office. He is the best boss in the world to work for! I assist Dr. Adams during many of our patients’ procedures, including fillings, exams, and restorations. I love people, and knowing that I am helping them is the greatest feeling. I enjoy building relationships with my patients and their families.

My husband, Doug, and I have a daughter, Hailey. I love spending time with my family, gardening, and watching SC Gamecocks football!

Nancy

Dental Hygienist

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1977, and joined Dr. Adams’ team in 1992. I work directly with our patients, motivating them to better health, educating them on oral health issues, and providing preventive services. In my job, I have developed some wonderful relationships with my patients over the years, and it’s personally fulfilling to see their success in improving their health. At our office, we consider ourselves the “Adams Family.”  We’ve been together for many years and love and support each other.

In my community, I have served on Stallings Parks and Recreation Committee since 2010. We have done three phases of park improvements, numerous events, created programs, and supported local businesses. I am also a member of Central United Methodist Church where I am a Trustee, serve on the Carnival Committee, participate in missions, and sing in the choir. I am a big UNC-CH basketball fan. My husband Mark and I love to travel. I also enjoy cooking, yoga, and reading.

Dental Hygienist

I attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan earning an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 1979. I began working with Dr. Adams in 1987 for a short time and was happy to be welcomed back in early 2000 after spending time at home with my young children. It has been an amazing experience and we are truly like a second family.  I really enjoy getting to know my patients and having a positive impact with their families dental health.  My goal is to make them feel as comfortable as possible while in our office.  We definitely love to have fun but our priority is to make sure that our patients get the respect and kindness that they deserve.  I am so thankful to work in an office where I know that each and every patient is given exceptional dental treatment and is treated like I would want to be treated.

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my two grown sons and helping with my family’s real estate business. I also like traveling with family and friends.  In my spare time you will find me decorating or doing home projects, cooking and experimenting with new recipes.

In 1989, I earned my Associate in Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from CPCC. In 1996, I became a part of the “Adams Family”! I enjoy the interaction with the patients- young, old, and everyone in between. I pride myself on providing care to patients in a relaxed and fun manner- making them feel comfortable with their dental experience. We consider ourselves to be so much more than a dental office; we are a dental family. Our office has a comfortable vibe, not only for the doctors and staff, but for all of our patients as well.

In 1989, I married my high school sweetheart, Jon. We have two sons; Corey lives in Asheville and Logan is a student at East Carolina University...Go Pirates! We also have a black Lab named Emmie, and a bearded dragon named Bruce. I enjoy doing crafts, such as cross-stitching and scrapbooking. I also like to watch football and lacrosse. One of my favorite activities is listening to my husband's band play at local venues.
