Q: Do you take my insurance?
A: Although our office is not a member of any insurance group, we are happy to file all insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients. The ultimate responsibility for payment rests with the patient.
Q: Are you accepting new patients?
A: Yes, new patients are always welcome.
Q: Do you see children?
A: Our office sees children over the age of 3 unless there are special circumstances that may require a pedodontist.
Q: If I'm just having my teeth cleaned, why do I need to discuss my medications and health history?
A: In our office, we are interested in our patients' overall health. Medications are important to us because we can provide the best treatment when we know if there are any allergies or conditions that may interfere. Some dental conditions may be directly related to diseases, conditions, and/or medications. With a thorough health history, we can provide the optimal care for each of our patients.
Q: How often should I get my teeth cleaned?
A: Patients should come in for a dental check up and cleaning approximately every 6 months. Going to your regular check ups will help ensure that your gums and teeth are kept healthy as well as detect any early problems such as cavities, oral cancer, and gum disease.
